Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility
The University of Rouen Normandie, backed by over ten years of commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (SD&CSR), was awarded the SD&CSR – Sustainable Development and Responsibility – label in September 2020.
The DD&RS label recognizes the commitment of higher education and research establishments to sustainable development and social responsibility, based on a common reference framework (Référentiel DD&RS CPU CGE) covering the 17 Sustainable Development Goals defined at international level. The label is structured around five areas: Strategy & Governance, Teaching & Training, Research & Innovation, Environment & Social Policy. Since obtaining the label, the Université de Rouen Normandie (URN) has stepped up its commitment and implemented numerous concrete actions based on a medium- and long-term strategic roadmap.

HRS4R
The “HRS4R” label (The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers) rewards institutions that make progress in aligning their human resources policies with the 40 principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Awarded by the European Commission in 2023, this label recognizes the University of Rouen Normandy’s commitment to continuous improvement in this area.
Welcome to France
The Campus France label committee has awarded the Université de Rouen Normandie the “Bienvenue en France” label. The label, awarded in 2020, recognizes the university’s proactive policy of welcoming international students over the past few years.
